Analysis On The Transformation Of China's Export Trade Development Mode And The Change Of Employment Structure Of Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing in China provides a large number of jobs for the society,but relatively low labor-intensive industry labor skills,transformation and upgrading of export trade will increase the demand for highly skilled Labour force,increase the risk of low skill labor be replaced.In addition,the non-effective allocation of labor force in east,central and western regions and between urban and rural areas has large regional differences.The contradiction of labor structure supply and demand is very prominent,so the employment problem is becoming one of the problems that haunts China's economic development.Based on the above background,this paper constructs the employment effect analysis model of China manufacturing export trade structure upgrading.The application panel data is an empirical study on the employment effect of China's east,central and western regions and some provinces and cities in the export trade between 2009 and 2016.Based on the results of the calculation,the causes and problems of its generation are further analyzed,and finally the conclusion and enlightenment of the paper are summarized.The conclusion is summarized as follows:(1)the proportion of processing trade in each province is positively related to the proportion of local manufacturing employment.In the overall view of manufacturing,the positive correlation is significant whether it adopts fixed effect model,simultaneous equations or GMM model.Since our country began to transform the trade way around 2005,the eastern and western regions are in different stages of trade transformation.The eastern region of processing trade in China,the central and western regions to increase the proportion of processing trade,which explains the eastern provinces and cities after 2005 manufacturing jobs than down,and the Midwest provinces manufacturing employment proportion relative rising asymmetry phenomenon.(2)the proportion of processing trade in each province is negatively related to the proportion of skilled labor in local manufacturing.This essentially reflects the our country in recent years,high-level manufacturing organization's overall performance(for the country,especially the eastern region a decrease in the proportion of processing trade way)to the town of manufacturing,especially the crowding out of low-end manufacturing labor employment.
