| Calculation is an important and basic knowledge of mathematics in elementary school,which appears throughout the teaching and learning of mathematics.Computing ability is one of the top ten core concepts proposed by compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards(2011 edition).It is not only the compulsory ability that must be mastered,but also the foundation of future learning.Therefore,to students,computing ability plays a vital role in future learning as well as their access to the society.As the enlightenment stage,the junior section is the key to improve computing ability.It will directly influence the follow-up mathematical learning.Based on this,a lot of domestic and international scholars have conducted research on this field and have written papers as well.However,according to the summary and analysis of the existing research,the exploration of teaching and learning strategies involving the currant computing situation in junior section is still incomplete.Combined with the specific demand of the research,this paper first illustrates the concept vested by the new curriculum of computing ability.Then,it analyzes the currant situation in teaching and learning of computing ability.Moreover,it deeply reflects on the factors which restricts computing ability.At last,combined with teaching practice,it puts forward the teaching strategies of improving computing ability.By studying this topic,it can provide valuable data and strategies for front line teachers.Also,it can provoke the reflection on the teaching of calculation.Then,it can form a series of teaching methods in order to cultivate the computing ability and lay a solid foundation for their future studies. |
