This article mainly conducts an experimental investigation on the compilation of "N umber and Algebraic" section in mathematics textbook of primary education.""Number and Algebrar" is an important part in China primary mathematics coures,which plays an significant role in compulsory education over the years.As we all know that teaching materials carry curriculum standards.How are students and teachers using the teaching materials?Whether teachers implement the connotation at class?Etc.These are the problems which must be known or solved by textbook editors.According to this paper,I choose to analyze teaching materials' compilation concept,framework and distinguishing features at first.After that,combining with the acceptance and attitude of teachers and students is an indispensable way to make a research.At last,three practical teaching cases will be chosen to explore whether the teachers make full use of teaching materials or not,including interviews over those teachers.I really hope that this research and analysis can have a certain reference over primary "Number and Algebra" teaching work and its curriculum development.Through the analysis of questionnaires,teaching cases,and interviews with instructors after class,the following conclusions can be drawn.(1)The materials selected in“Number and Algebra”section and activities in class closely contact students' lives,which has been approved by participants.Also the moderate difficulty is suitable for most primary students.(2)Part "Number and Algebra" has a reasonable knowledge system,which fully considers the students' cognition and age characteristics.(3)The section "Number and Algebra" effectively transforms students' studying method from "passive acceptance" to "independent thinking and inquiry",and focuses more on the way of thinking and practical ability.(4)This object is beneficial to teaching process,which not only brings students'awareness of inquiry and problems,but also strengthens their Sense of cooperation,basically reaches "Number and Algebra" Education Objectives.Apart from this,"Number and Algebra" also promotes quality education to a certain extent.Those are fully affirmed by participants in class.In terms of overall design,instructors consider that there are several places can be improved.Estimation involves bigger or smaller,which is the choice of strategy,has a certain degree difficulty on students.Some teachers reflect that the design is a little bit unconventional,like sometimes the textbook presents previous knowledge.From the perspective of students,little researches combining the compilation of textbooks and experiments.This is also the innovation of the article.
