Cultivating students’ innovative ability is a hot topic that all sectors of society have paid attention to in recent years,and it is the key problem that the educational administrative department is trying to solve.With the development of the reform of basic education,The traditional teaching methods can not meet the needs of the new situation.How to give full play to the role of chemical experiment teaching in the cultivation of students’ innovative ability is an important issue.This study investigates the present situation of chemical experiment teaching in basic education,designs innovative educational experiment,and puts forward some suggestions for improvement.This paper is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction,which describes the research background,research status,research purpose and significance,research content and methods,the second part is the investigation and analysis,Combined with the statistical results of the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the current situation of chemistry experiment teaching and the cultivation of students’innovative ability in senior high school,and points out the main problems existing in it.The third part is the research design,the design of teaching research experiment,Based on the training of students’ innovative ability,the teaching mode of designing and exploring experiment is combined with teachers’ demonstration and students’independent inquiry,which encourages students to design and improve experiments,exercises students’ creative thinking,and promotes students’ innovative skills in the process of hands-on operation.The fourth part is the analysis of the results of the study,comparing the results of the two classes before and after the experiment,innovative thinking and skills,to analyze whether there are differences;the last part is the conclusion and inspiration,summed up the point of view of this study.And make recommendations.The paper shows that chemistry experiment teaching in senior high school has positive effect on improving students’ innovation ability.To carry out inquiry activities in chemistry experiment course and encourage students to design experiments are not only helpful to arouse students’ enthusiasm in learning.At the same time,it also exercises the students’ ability to find and solve problems,which is more conducive to the improvement of students’ creative thinking and ability.At present,it is a challenge for both teachers and students to design chemistry experiment teaching based on the cultivation of innovative ability.The scientific design chemistry experiment course is the key to ensure its good teaching effect,and it also needs to be explored and summarized in the teaching practice in the future.
