Chemical exercise classes is a kind of course form to explain the problem sets. It play an important role in reinforce students’basic knowledge of chemistry, improve the problem solving skills, improve the ability to analyze and solve problems. However, in the exercise classes, There are still problems like teacher one-sided understanding of teaching material for the starting point, or using "spoon-feeding","Mass problem sets".The features of new exercise classes include:1.exercises based, with appropriate guidance in classes,2.centered on exploratory experiments, consolidating key learning point,3.jump out of the teaching material experiment, play innovation experimental role4.group study as learning method, emphasizing tentative attempts,5.exercises design as improvement measures, valuing the instruction of college entrance examination. The teaching mode of the exploring innovative experiment in the exercises class is:Teaching goal setting→Getting into with using exercises→The planning of the process→The evaluation of the process→Improving with practice. In conclusion, as initiatives play the decisive role in exercise classes with innovative exploratory experiments, students who have good chemical foundations are better at following the teachers, absorbing knowledge, analyzing thoughts and conducting experiments, and they tend to find more pleasure in the pursuit of knowledge and truth. Such a virtuous circle motivates those students to be more active in chemical-learning, which in return yield better results in their scores. Using exploring innovative experiment in the exercises class in the middle school teaching is remarkable.
