The Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China,in its "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as the"Course Standard"),clearly regards mathematical modeling as one of the six core qualities and establishes the important position of mathematical modeling in mathematics.However,under such a background,understanding the level of mathematics modelling literacy among students is the basis for determining the teaching content of mathematical modeling and the teaching methods of mathematical modeling.From the above background,the theme of this study was determined.That is take senior high school students as an example to learn about the level of mathematics modeling and literacy in high school senior high school students and to draw relevant conclusions and give recommendations.This study is mainly conducted in both theoretical and practical aspects.In theory,fully review the curriculum standards promulgated at home and abroad and other relevant literature on mathematical modeling and core qualities to understand the development history,current status,and trends of mathematical modeling,concepts related to mathematical modeling,and mathematical modeling literacy.The standard for the level of division,as a background material for the follow-up practice,provides relevant reference for subsequent research.In practice,the writing,measurement,and analysis of the test volume were mainly performed.In the process of preparing the test paper,two test tests were conducted in a high school in Shenzhen and a high school in Wuhan.The test papers were continuously modified according to the problems in the test.Finally,the test was conducted in a high school in Xiaogan City,Hubei Province.Students' level of mathematics modeling literacy levels;and through the analysis and processing of related software,to explore in the students learning and teacher mathematics teaching,there are implicit factors that can improve students' mathematical modeling capabilities.It is concluded that the student's level of mathematics modelling literacy is affected by many factors such as gender,liberal arts and sciences,parallel classes and key classes,and it has a certain correlation with the student's usual performance and teacher's teaching methods.Students'attitudes to mathematics and their understanding of mathematical modeling need to be further strengthened.Finally,based on the above research results,the teachers and students of the school are put forward corresponding suggestions,and the shortcomings and prospects of this study are summarized.
