Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Market-oriented Development Of Basic Education

In recent years,with the rapid economic development of Nanchang City and the strict implementation of the policy “Exemption from Proximity to Admission” during the basic education stage,it produced many private primary and secondary schools relying on prestigious schools and elite schools have emerged one after another.These private primary and secondary schools are generally sought after by students parents.Some middle-income and high-income parents began to flee the public education system and sought higher education services in these private schools.The quality of public schools and private schools gradually increases,and the disadvantages of public schools become more and more obvious.Based on the observation of basic education in Nanchang City and established the research hypothesis of study: it is believed that the basic education in Nanchang has shown a trend of marketization in the development process,and this market-oriented development trend will bring some problems to the healthy development of basic education in Nanchang City.In order to verify the research hypothesis,then designed questionnaire on the status of basic education development in Nanchang,to analyze whether the basic education in Nanchang presents the trend of marketization and the problems in its development.Through the objective comparison of the number of public and private schools in elementary education in Nanchang City in recent years,and based on the Parent and Teacher Questionnaire,parents and teachers conducted an empirical survey of the subjective perceptions of competition between public and private primary and secondary schools,verify that basic education in Nanchang has shown a market-oriented development trend.Further,according to the survey of the subjective feelings of parents and teachers on the problems brought about by the development of basic education marketization,test out the process of marketization of basic education in Nanchang City bring the three question: First,it affected the public welfare of basic education in Nanchang City;Second,strengthened social stratification of Nanchang;At last,increased parental and students education pressure.Based on the above mentioned issues and from the government and school perspective,correspondingly,bring up future development on the train of thought and countermeasures proposals,in order to standardize the development of the marketization of basic education in Nanchang Cityand will help establish the basic education that citizens are satisfied.
