| The level of welfare provision for migrant children’s home education is crucial to the development of migrant children in China.The problem of inadequate supply of family education welfare for migrant children is evident.On the one hand,due to the poor family economic conditions within the family,there is a lack of spiritual level in terms of material supply and lack of cultural capital.On the other hand,external formal supporters,mainly government,schools,and communities,have their own limitations,which are mainly manifested in the lack of government policy formulation at the macro level and the implementation of micro-level work;school-school cooperation is formalized.Inadequate contact with parents;insufficient community investment and lack of professionalism,etc.,cannot provide migrant children with adequate family education benefits.Based on the theory of social support,the source of the difficulties in the supply of family education welfare for migrant children in China lies in the fact that the supporting entities are independent of each other and can only provide a single resource and do not form a complete social network to provide welfare.Therefore,there is a need for a medium to integrate all aspects of resources and to provide social resources for the social support network to reconstruct the families of migrant children.This introduces the social work model guided by social support theory,using the full integration of social work,linking internal and external resources,and making up for the lack of migrant children’s family cultural capital,and rebuilding a complete social support network.The government supports the main body in its efforts to purchase social work,improve the formulation and implementation of policies;the school main body improves and implements the home-school cooperation to take advantage of the linkages,and cooperates with social workers to carry out school social work and implements home-school cooperation;the main body of the community establishes community parent schools to improve family education capabilities.Community social work is carried out to meet the needs of migrant children in terms of mental health and behavioral development. |
