A Comparative Study Of Chinese Zero-based Thai Middle School And High School Textbooks

The development of Chinese teaching in Thailand is related to the development of the textbooks of Chinese teaching.The textbooks of Chinese teaching are regarded as a media between teaching Chinese as a second language teachers and Thailand students,and the textbooks are always very important in Chinese teaching.The Experiencing Chinese which is learned by the author,it specially aims for learning Chinese of the Thailand students,and it is the widely-used Chinese textbook in Thailand,in order to cultivate their language skills and communication skills.The Experiencing Chinese is regarded as the first series textbooks entering the Thailand elementary education catalogue of the textbooks of teaching Chinese as a second language.The Experiencing Chinese is redacted for the Thailand students whose mother tongue is Thai language and who didn't learn Chinese before,it plays an important role in Chinese teaching of Thailand.During the four months teaching,the author found that the series textbook has something suitable for Thai students and it is obvious that there is existing that some problems that are not suitable for the Thai students during the teaching.If these problems are well solved,it can improve the quality of the textbooks and the teaching effects.On the contrary,it will restrict the using of Chinese textbooks and Chinese teaching effects.From the aspect of the users and teaching practitioner of the textbooks,so the author made a research of the first series The Experiencing Chinese between middle school and high school.From the aspect of that it is suitable for the Chinese learning and application of the Thai students.In order to make better advices which are for learning Chinese and the application of Chinese for Thai students.Because the series textbooks are widely used in Thailand,the research of the Experiencing Chinese is not only important for Chinese teaching of the school which the author stayed for more than four months,but also helps to improve the development of teaching Chinese in other districts in Thailand and it has some reference value and promotion value in Thailand.
