Study On The Basic Characteristics And Development Path Of The Multi-day International Foot Race And Racewalking Around Taihu

This paper investigates the status of the racewalking and walking multi-day competition around the Taihu Lake,sums up the basic characteristics of Suzhou racewalking and walking multi-day competition around the Taihu Lake and researches the problems consisted in the development of Suzhou racewalking and walking multi-day competition by using the methods of literature review,expert interviews,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,field study and comprehensive analysis to further explore the good-quality path that Suzhou racewalking and walking multi-day competition develop.The results show that:(1)The conduct of the racewalking multi-day competition mainly results from the background of IAAF's desire to reform the traditional racewalking competition,the national policy of developing sports industry and optimizing the competition market and the local government expand its influence by holding the large-scale events.The development orientation of the racewalking multi-day competition is mainly reflected in promoting the development of high-quality events,improving the level of competition organization and highlighting the local characteristics of the competition.The technical penalties of the racewalking multi-day competition changes to increase the penalty time,and the athletes will be sent off when they get the fifth red card.The technical penalty realizes the informatization.The number of participants of the racewalking multi-day competition is steadily rising.The scale of athletes also is increasingly expanding and the competitive level maintains a leading level in the world.The outspread activities of the competition are wonderful,contributing to the success of the racewalking multi-day competition.The effect of the competition is mainly reflected in the innovation of equipment system,the organization and the method of punishment that received good feedback from the major authorities,the characteristics of the competition continue to be concise and the initial success of the brand competition has been made.(2)The racewalking multi-day competition has the organization characteristics of transferring venues and changing places of per unit competition,the rules characteristics of implementing the overtime penalty,the judge characteristics of transferring the working position of the referees and following the referee alternately,the track design characteristics of expanding the race space and changing the traditional racewalking method,the time-keeping equipment characteristics of transmitting and receiving information quickly and all-weather job,the competition characteristics of professional athletes competing with young people at home and abroad and competitive sports combining with mass sports the track landscape characteristics of showing the professional athletes and,the characteristics of the track landscape of showing the local natural scenery and humanistic connotations and the innovative characteristics of changing the traditional competition methods and promoting the reform of the racewalking rules.(3)The racewalking multi-day competition still has some problems including the dominated government and the low market-oriented operations;the communication and coordination of relevant departments are not harmonious;the number of audience of the competition is not too many;the work of competition organization is too difficult;the promotion of the competition is not enough,and the route of media transmission is simple;the timeliness and accuracy of the racewalking technical penalties need to be improved constantly;and lacking the specialized personnel of the competition organization and management.(4)The factors that influence the racewalking multi-day competition mainly reflect in the development positioning and implementation of the competition;the amount of investment;the support of the government;the construction of the brand competition;the team of specialized personnel;the support of the technical equipment of the competition;and the level of the public support.(5)The optimal development path of the racewalking multi-day competition is: strengthening the government's attention and mobilizing the participating enthusiasm of the relevant departments;strengthening the promotion of the competition and marketing to enhance the influence of the competition and the attention of residents;optimizing and innovating the competition organization and the design of relevant activities;Continuously summing up the competition running experience,aiming at the development positioning and goals of the competition;Building the brand competitions in all directions and developing the practical implementation plan;showing the local characteristics of the competition and fully exploiting the connotation of the competition;increasing the scientific and technological innovation to promote the high-quality development of the competition;hiring a professional team to enhance the service quality of the competition;paying attention to the security work of the competition and enriching the participating experience of the public.
