Chinese Pinyin is the basis of auxiliary literacy,is the foundation stone of learning mandarin.The teaching of primary school Chinese Pinyin is the basis of primary school Chinese teaching content,and more one of the difficult point content.In 2011,Ministry of Educationpromulgated the "full-time compulsory education Chinese course standard"(hereinafter referred to as the "curriculum standard"),where putting the learning of Chinese Pinyin back to the requirements of "reading and writing".It stressed that one can use Chinese Pinyin to learn Chinese characters,correct one's pronunciation,and speak mandarin.School is one of the significant positions for promoting mandarin;however,learning Chinese Pinyin is the foundation of learning mandarin.As the provincial capital of Guangdong,Guangzhou is the most representative of the Cantonese dialect areas.The research of learning problems and strategies of primary school Chinese Pinyin in Guangzhou is of great significance to study Chinese Pinyin and speak good mandarin for Cantonese area students.This dissertation adapted a combined research method of the questionnaire survey,literature analysis,and experience summary to explore solutions and strategies of learning Chinese Pinyin in the Cantonese dialect areas,which is based on the problems from the author's teaching practice and the common learning problems from Guangzhou pupils.This dissertation can be divided into the following sections:The introduction part is prevue,including the significance and current situation of the Chinese Pinyin teaching.This dissertation specifically studies the importance of helping the students of the Cantonese dialect areas learning Chinese Pinyin and speaking good mandarin.There are several studies on the Chinese Pinyin;however,the research of the problems and strategies of learning Chinese Pinyin in Cantonese area is rarely reported.In the first part,the Chinese Pinyin learning of Sun Yat-sen University affiliated elementary school is chosen as a case study.This school locates at a historical district in Guangzhou,where seventity percent of students can speak Cantonese.Therefore,exploring the problems and analyzing the reasons of learning Chinese Pinyin in grade one of this school is a window and beginning to study the situation of Guangzhou or other Cantonese dialect areas.In the second part,the problem types and reasons of primary school Chinese Pinyin learning in Guangzhouare studied.I performed a questionnaire about the primary school of Guangzhou,aming to find out the specific solution strategy to change the current situation through the data analysis of the problems in Chinese Pinyin learning and exploration of the related reasons.In the third part,the strategies and solutions of primary school Chinese Pinyin learning in Gu,angzhou are provided.Through questionnaire survey and data analysis of above-mentioned problems in second part,the related solution strategies are proposed,which can overcome the obstacle in learning Chinese Pinyin and speaking speak mandarin and promote the popularization in mandarin for students in the Cantonese dialect areas.
