The Study Of Distribution Of Degree-granting Units Of The Pedagogy Of Higher Education In Our Country

Since 1984,established as the secondary discipline of the pedagogy of higher education in our country,with nearly 40 years of development,our country has a large number of doctoral,master's degree-granting units of the pedagogy of higher education.Comprehensively grasp the basic situation of the distribution of degree-granting units of the pedagogy of higher education,and analyze the existing problems,discuss the influencing factors,propose the optimized strategies,has become an important research topic which can promote and strengthen the development and construction of degree-granting units of the pedagogy of higher education.This research used historical research method and mathematical statistics and so on,on the basis of reviewing the establishment process of degree-granting units of the pedagogy of higher education in our country,selective analysis the distribution of established time,spatial distribution and the distribution of academies.From the distribution of established time,most of degree-granting units were established after 2003.From spatial distribution,there is an imbalance between the four economic regions and within.From the distribution of academies,most of degree-granting units focused on normal colleges and universities,there are more “Double First-rate” universities among doctoral degree-granting units,but master's degree-granting units fewer.Based on the investigation,the main problems existing in current distribution of degree-granting units of the pedagogy of higher education in our country are:Doctoral degree-granting units developed smoothly,but master's degree-granting units are growing too fast,the hierarchical structure is unreasonable;there is an imbalance between the four economic regions;And also within.In response to these problems,future optimization strategy of distribution of degree-granting units of the pedagogy of higher education can be considered from these aspects:Education administrative department should adjust the structure of distribution of degree-granting units reasonably;Establish an interconnection information database of degree-granting units of the pedagogy of higher education;Stable development of doctoral degree-granting units,reasonable development of master's degree-granting units,optimization of hierarchical structure;The dominant region should give full play to its energy and strive to make it “overflow”;The weakness areas should make full use of their initiative to explore their potential;These degree-granting units should grasp national policies,define social needs,and determine its own development.
