After China experienced the vernacular movement in the early 20 th century,the written language gradually replaced classical Chinese with vernacular language,making the vernacular language achieve an orthodox status in literary creation.And the promotion of vernacular language teaching also makes education popular.At this point Based on this,modern language teaching has also become an important part of Chinese language teaching.Modern language teaching as an important part of the whole middle school language teaching,it has been planned to set up the relevant modern language teaching content in each school segment of middle and high school,including modern poetry,drama,novel,prose and other literary genres.In teaching,advocating modern language cohesion teaching in middle and high school is beneficial to the realization of the goal of Chinese reading teaching in junior school,and also to the formation of students' literary appreciation ability.The cohesion of modern language teaching in middle and high school includes the connection of teacher's consciousness,teaching method,the connection of students' psychological cognition,learning method,as well as the connection of reading knowledge.Some students from junior high school to senior high school,will experience inadequate symptom in the study aspect,but the high school Chinese teacher in the teaching process often pay no attention to junior high school teaching content,the teaching request,and psychological changes that students may produce,resulting students in high school language learning is not smooth.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the convergence of modern Chinese Reading Teaching in middle and high school.The aim is to make students to adapt the high school language learning as soon as possible when they enter high school and achieve a smooth transition from middle school to high school.On the basis of collating and summarizing the existing research results,this paper analyzes the possible problems in the process of cohesion through compared the difference and link between middle school and high school language teaching,and put forward the optimization strategy of modern language teaching in senior high school.It is expected to make the two originally independent modern reading get connected with the system development,and effectively achieve cohesion in teaching methods,cognitive style,learning methods,knowledge content,to promote the all-round development of students personality.
