Geography teaching method is an important part of geography teaching activities,with the development of the new curriculum reform,The reform of teaching methods is constantly advancing,The new curricula clearly state that there is a need to create a learning style that fosters geography's core literacy.This learning method not only requires students to learn knowledge,but also requires students to learn how to learn,that is,master the learning methods.Therefore,in the reform of geography teaching methods must always bear in mind:Studying geography knowledge is the basic goal of high school geography teaching,However,getting students to master geography learning is a developmental goal.With the increasing research on "Essential Signal" Method in geography,There has been a general confusion between the "Essential Signal" figure and the "Essential Signal"Method.The "Essential Signal" figure is the core of the "Essential Signal" Method,the"Essential Signal" Method includes both the core and the necessary procedures and steps.The "Essential Signal" figure can symbolize the geographical things,Allow students to intuitively understand and feel the teacher's teaching ideas,and gradually master this thinking skills,Thus in accordance with their own way of thinking for independent thinking,to help students master the learning methods.For geography teachers it is an aid to improve teaching efficiency and improve their professional level,but for students,it is more than just passing on the knowledge they need,but also the thinking process that internalizes the "Essential Signal" figure.On the premise of inheriting the nature of the"Essential Signal" Method,the article focuses on the core of the"Essential Signal"figure,Through reading literature,class observations,works analysis and individual interviews for statistical analysis,and try to sum up the problem to propose countermeasures.This article focuses on the three parts.The first part is the definition of the related concepts of geographical "Essential Signal" figure and the introduction of related theories,including the contact and difference of the "Essential Signal" figure and the"Essential Signal" Method,the difference between the "Essential Signal" figure and concept graphics and mind map,the types and characteristics of the "Essential Signal"figure and examples.The second part is a survey of the application of geography"Essential Signal" figure in senior high school geography classroom through classroom observation and work analysis.Investigate the two main aspects of the use and use of the"Essential Signal" figure,and secondary aspects such as designer and media type.Through the method of individual interview,the interview questions are designed and discussed with geography teachers of different teaching years and gender to understand the understanding of the "Essential Signal" figure for senior high school geography teachers.The third part is through the statistics and analysis of the data,summed up there are three major problems on the "Essential Signal" figure in geography teaching,and combined with cases,charts and so on to put forward specific coping strategies.Finally,taking the complete teaching process of a textbook as an example,an example is given to illustrate how to apply the improved the "Essential Signal" figure to the actual teaching process.The article hopes to get a deep understanding of the "Essential Signal" figure for high school geography teachers,to think about teaching and to provide some advice and help to optimize the teaching methods.
