As an important content of intangible cultural heritage,folk art has been inherited and passed down to this dayalong with the development of civilization of the Chinese nation for 5,000 years.Folk art originated from the daily life of ordinary people and was widely circulated because of its unique folk life ideals and profound humanistic feelings.To develop the local outstanding folk arts as the content of art teaching not only enriches the art classroom and enhances students' interest,but also has a positive effect on the protection and inheritance of folk arts.Shanxi Huamo(steamed buns with various colors and shapes),a kind of art on the fingertips of the Shanxi people,is an outstanding folk art in the Yellow River Basin.It is not only the intangible cultural heritage of Shanxi Province,but also of the whole country.Shanxi Huamo is an indispensable folk custom in the lives of ordinary people in Shanxi.It is not only a work of art but also a symbol of culture.The author chose the Huamo which is popular in the life of people of Shanxi as the object of this research,not only because of its unique artistic value,but also because of the well-known folk cultural outlook and the ideal of folk culture expressed by the Huamo.The author believes that combining excellent traditional folk culture with junior high school students' art education is a win-win move.Excellent folk culture enriches the contents of junior high school art classes,and junior high school art classes are conducive to the spread and inheritance of folk culture.This study is divided into five parts,and it expounds the artistic value,cultural value and aesthetic education value of Shanxi Huamo as a school-based curriculum resource.This paper also thoroughly explores the feasibility and implementation of Shanxi Huamo art as a school-based textbook,and expounds some basic methods and other related content of excellent folk arts entering junior high school art classes,details are as follows:The first part briefly introduces the definition,the origin of the Huamo and the style of Shanxi Huamo.It mainly introduces the artistic value of the bud.The second part analyzes and expounds the cultural value ofShanxi Huamo as an intangible cultural heritage,the folk culture outlook and the ideal of folk culture expressed by Shanxi Huamo.The third part,as an important part of this article,briefly introduces the general situation of the author's school.It mainly expounds the significance of Shanxi Huamo as a junior high school art teaching resource,and the four basic principles it should follow to develop it.The fourth part mainly expounds the specific development steps of Shanxi Huamo as a school-based curriculum,as well as the demonstration of the example of Shanxi Huamo in the school-based curriculum.The fifth part mainly summarizes and analyzes the problems in the development of Shanxi Huamo as a curriculum resource(school-based teaching material)in the actual teaching process,and provides experience for related teaching research in the future.
