The historical inquiry activity course is a teaching model that emerged during the process of implementation of the new curriculum reform and embodies the people-oriented education concept.it can promote students to be autonomous learners and active learning.They can improve students’ ability to analyze problems and thus they will actively engaged in learning.Besides,it cultivates students’ competence in solving problems and fosters their innovative thinking in cooperative inquiry.However,in actual teaching,due to inequality of teachers,insufficient emphasis,regional differences,etc.,the inquiry activity lesson has not been effectively carried outand it is formalistic which actually doesn’t achieve its value.With the in-depth development of the new curriculum reform,the country has put forward a new concept of education and teaching,that is morality education which means the goal of curriculum reform is to cultivate and improve the core qualities of students’ history disciplines.It is necessary to carry out the task of developing the core qualities of students’ history disciplines in the aspects of design and selection of course content,and the implementation of the curriculum.Under the new situation,the development of inquiry activities is of great significance for improving the core qualities of students’ history disciplines.History curriculum standards summarize the core qualities of historical disciplines into five aspects: Materialist conception of history,space-time concepts,historical evidence,historical explanations,and family feelings.The activity class is conducive to students’ ability to improve historical evidence in collecting and collating materials.During students’ process of discovering problems and solving problems,a correct and comprehensive understanding of history has been formed,and historical things have been analyzed objectively and rationally.It can cultivate students’ materialist conception of history,construct the concept of historical time and space and improve the ability to explain history.It is helpful for students to correctly understand the real society and cultivate feelings of the family,and realize the educational function of the history discipline.Firstly,the thesis discusses theoretically the basic connotation and characteristics of high school historical inquiry activities and the share its significance in promoting the transformation of teaching methods,the transformation of students’ learning methods,the construction of teacher-student relationship,and the improvement of core qualities;secondly,it divides inquiry activity class of the current history textbooks into five categories: seminars,activity designing and social practice,and with the goal of improving the students’ historical core qualitie,which corresponding teaching designs are found and conducts reflections.Finally,the notable problems are analyzed during the implementation of the historical inquiry activities course.Namely,the theme of the activity should be clear and feasible,and the goal should reflect the new concept of curriculum reform.Teachers should change their educational concepts and improve their professional quality.The activity in class should pay attention to process evaluation,diversify the evaluation subject,and diversify evaluation methods.This thesis researches the senior high school history inquiry activities under the core literacy.It aims to help teachers effectively conduct teaching activity and promote students’ all-round development.
