Vocational education in special education schools occupies an important position in the field of special education,which affects the overall quality of special education.It also concerns the development of special students.With the continuous deepening of special education work,vocational education in special education schools has achieved many phased results,but in the process of development,there have also been many problems in vocational education.Due to the large population and slow economic development in northern Anhui,the development of vocational education in special education schools is quite different from that in other regions.The problem of vocational education is more prominent.Therefore,this study mainly investigates the status quo of vocational education in the special education schools in the north of Anhui Province,explores the causes of the problems,and puts forward relevant suggestions on this basis.This has an important role in promoting the quality of vocational education in the special education schools in northern Anhui and has a profound effect on promoting the employment of special students.Based on the review of relevant literature and on-site research,the study used questionnaires,case studies,interviews,and other research methods to establish,implement,and provide employment information for vocational education in two special education schools in northern Anhui.The evaluation of professional education and other aspects are analyzed and discussed.Through questionnaires and interviews,the following conclusions were drawn from this study:1.The improper selection of vocational education sites,lack of training equipment and supporting equipment resources.2.The curriculum structure and professional setup of vocational education are irrational.The curriculum is monotonous.Most of them are traditional courses.There is a lack of courses that meet the needs of the market.The arrangement of hours is irrational and students lack continuous training.3.vocational education textbooks are mainly based on conventional textbooks,textbook content does not meet the characteristics and needs of students;teachers do not have uniform teaching materials,more casual content.4.Vocational education teachers lack professional participation and lack of teachers.5.The employment situation of graduates is not optimistic;the school lacks long-term follow-up guidance for graduates.Based on the above issues,the study proposes the following suggestions:1.Optimize the vocational education policy system and correctly view vocational education.2.Increase investment in vocational education funds and encourage multiple participation.3.Plan the curriculum rationally and develop school-based textbooks.4.Hire a professional team of teachers to strengthen the construction of teachers.5.Improve tracking and employment transfer services.6.Create a practice base and strengthen school-enterprise cooperation.
