Mathematics is a subject that studies the quantitative relation and the space form.The combination of numbers and the space forms perfectly combines the abstract quantitative relation with the intuitive space forms.As the most commonly used mathematical thought in middle school,the combination of numbers and shapes can stimulate students' interest in learning.It can also help students understand the essence of the problem and develop students' ability of thinking.At the same time,the combination of numbers and shapes can open up students' thinking paths and methods of solving problems,thus to improve students' ability to solve problems and to innovate.Therefore,how to better integrate the thought of numbers and shaps into the teaching process has become a high concern of us mathematic educators.Based on the relevant research results,this paper tries to find a practical and effective method to study the strategy of infiltrating the combination of numbers and shapes in mathematics teaching in junior high school.This paper firstly analyzes the significance of the strategy of infiltrating the thought of combination of numbers and shapes in teaching,and defines the concepts of mathematical thought,thought of combination of numbers and forms,and so on.Secondly,by using the method of questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates the present situation and existing problems of the combination of numbers and shapes in junior high school mathematics teaching,and draws the following conclusions: The understanding of the combination of numbers and form is not comprehensive enough for junior high school students.Most students equate the idea of combining numbers and shapes with numbers assisted with auxiliary graphs,that is to say,the unilateral understanding of simply solving algebraic problems with the help of graphs,They lack the awareness of understanding the nature of graphics through quantitative relations,and lack the sense of application as a whole.In the process of solving problems,most students often have problems such as incomplete drawing,inaccuracy,low ability of composition,etc.Therefore,junior high school students' ability of using numeral-form combination thought is relatively low as a whole.Then,it analyzes the factors that influence the use of combination of numbers and shapes in junior high school mathematics teaching.Finally,combining with the principle of the combination of numbes and forms in teaching,the paper puts forward the ways andstrategies of the combination of numbers and forms in mathematics teaching in junior high school.In view of the problems reflected in the investigation results,the author puts forward the following suggestions on the combination of numbers and shapes in teaching from three aspects: students,teachers and schools.Firstly,students should improve the ability of number sense and geometry intuition,deepen the understanding of the thought of combination of numbers and shapes,practice carefully,avoid drawing incompleteness,form the good habit of summing up and introspecting,make accurate drawings,and stimulate the interest of learning the idea of combination of numbers and shapes.Secondly,teachers should change their teaching concepts,fully excavate teaching materials,enhance their active consciousness of infiltrating the idea of combination of numbers and forms,master the principles and ways of infiltrating the idea of combination of figures and forms in teaching activities,and actively participate in all kinds of training activities.Improve their own subject knowledge and subject teaching knowledge.Thirdly,the school should play an active role in the promoting of the idea.It shoud provide relevant materials,equipments and information about the combination of numbers and shapes,and organize teachers to participate in lectures and training about infiltrating the thought of combination of numbers and forms.
