In the new economic growth model,researchers view human capital as an important endogenous variable.The initial empirical analysis of some scholars also proved that the relationship between both sides is positive.However,as the study continues to deepen,people realize that the mechanism of human capital acting on economic growth is not so simple.In some areas,although education is in good condition but its economic development is just passable.However,although in some area,it is labor education and the level of human capital investment is not so good,its economic grows rapidly.The reason is that the human capital effect on economic growth is not only affected by education the degree of population.What's more important is whether the level of human capital and industrial structure match each other.The so-called matching of human capital and industrial structure refers to the fact that the existing human capital can meet the needs of industrial development,and through the promotion of the adjustment of the proportion of various industries to achieve the improvement of human and physical capital production efficiency,and ultimately achieve economic growth.In fact,there are many areas of our country whose level of human capital and industrial structure is not harmonious situation.The most typical area is the middle region.Therefore,based on the basic theoretical framework,this paper uses the coupling degree model to measure the matching degree of human capital and industrial structure in central China from the year 2000 to 2015.At the same time,using panel regression model and threshold regression model,this paper studies the influence of matching degree on economic growth in central China.This article includes a total of six chapters: The first chapter is introduction,which discusses the basic situation of this article,basic contents,methods and technical route.Meanwhile it gave a brief review to the domestic and foreign scholars' researches on human capital,industrial structure and economic growth.The second chapter is the analysis framework of matching degree of human capital and industrial structure's impact on economic growth.Based on the related theories,the concept of matching degree is explained.And this chapter analyzes the mechanism of matching degree's effect on economic growth.It is analyzed that the matching degree will influence economic growth from three paths.In addition,theoretical analysis has been further verified by mathematical models.The third chapter is the calculation and analysis of matching degree.This chapter is based on system theory and the Coupling theory to construct the matching degree model and human capital and industrial structure index system.Matching degree calculation results show that from the year 2000 to 2015,overall situation in six provinces is poor and there exists some differences between the six provinces.From the average matching degree of view,all provinces are matching disorder.From the development trend,the matching degree of six central provinces is increasing.From the rank of matching degree perspective,the matching degree's order changed in the study period.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the static panel model.This chapter,using matching degree as the core explanatory variables,constructs the static panel and using the estimation of fixed effects.The empirical results show that the matching degree of human capital and industrial structure has a notable positive impact on economic growth and government spending,infrastructure and the rate of urbanization is conducive to economic development.The fifth chapter is the threshold regression analysis.This chapter takes matching degree as the threshold variable to test the nonlinear relationship between the matching degree and economic growth.The results show that there is a single threshold between the matching degree and economic growth.The threshold value is 0.7368 and the empirical results show that the matching degree will influence its effect on economic growth.If it is not across the threshold,the influence coefficient of economic growth is 0.4441.However,when the matching degree steps out threshold value,the influence coefficient of economic growth is 0.6266.That is means the effect of matching effect on economic growth increases dramatically after crossing the threshold.In addition correlation factor analysis shows that for different threshold area,the importance of different index factor varies.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and policy suggestions.Summarizing the research results of this paper,we propose four suggestions that will help improve the matching degree: rationally adjust the industrial structure and effectively give play to the advantages of talents;build a talent support system to promote industrial optimization and upgrading;improve the talent flow mechanism and realize rational distribution of human resources;improve R&D achievements protection system and improve R&D input contribution rate.
