To cultivate pupils’ reading interest mainly refers to the reading behavior that guides the pupils as the main body,the qualitative change is caused by the quantitative change,and the students can choose the books independently according to their own interests and emotional tendencies,and carry out self management and self evaluation in the process of reading,and through individualized analysis and practice,they can simultaneously read and read.In the process of reading,we should ponder and solve the doubts arising from the reading,so as to achieve the purpose of reading pleasure.The research method adopted in this paper is questionnaire survey method.The specific design is designed to determine the purpose and needs of the research,to compile the questionnaire,to determine the object and scope of the investigation,to issue and recycle the questionnaire,to interview,to sort out the data and to draw the conclusion.A total of 150 students were selected from grade two to grade six,with a total of 150 questionnaires,including 19 students in grade six,36 students in grade five,36 students in grade four,39 students in three grade,and 20 students in grade 150.149 questionnaires were collected,of which 145 were valid questionnaires,and 145 questionnaires were used as the research objects.The study found that most students have low interest in reading,and that reading does not necessarily bring about knowledge and the accumulation of literature material,only a few students can read actively for a long time,most of the students’ reading behavior is mainly passive reading.Most students still regard reading as passive learning behavior,rather than active learning behavior.The source of modern students’ reading is relatively extensive,including network resources,library materials,borrowing and purchasing among students.In the course of extracurricular reading,it is most difficult for a few students to read actively according to their interests and to choose to read with the advice of teachers and parents,which will help to expand their knowledge and improve their writing ability.There are five reasons for the current reading status of primary school pupils: one,school factors;two,family environment factors;three,social factors;in order to solve this situation,some suggestions are put forward: first,school strategy;two,family strategy;three,social strategy.
