As a basic subject,middle school history disciplines are characterized by cross-cutting and comprehensiveness,they are inseparable from the relationship between geography disciplines.In recent years,with the new curriculum reforming,our country puts forward higher requirements for cultivating students' the concept of time and space and historical geographical awareness.History teachers strengthen the use of geography knowledge in the actual teaching process.This article takes the departmental edition of "Chinese History"(Grade seven grade)as an example,uses literature research methods,case analysis methods,investigation methods.From the perspective of the integration and application of related geography knowledge,we conduct analytical studies.We use this book which is published by the Ministry of Education.First of all,combining the current purpose of compulsory education for cultivating students'comprehensive ability,based on the research results of predecessor criticism,the theoretical significance of the topic is highlighted,and targeted research is conducted through different research methods.Second,we will discuss in detail the tradition of integrating geography knowledge into history textbooks since the late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China.Integrating geography knowledge into history textbooks is not only a traditional succession,but also can play a complementary role in interpreting historical knowledge,cultivating students' the concept of time and space,and strengthening knowledge memory.In addition,in order to attract teachers of middle school history to pay attention to geography knowledge,it is convenient for teaching and using.This article summarizes the related geography knowledge in the"educated" version of the junior high school(Grade 7 grade)from the two aspects of natural geography knowledge and human geography knowledge.The knowledge of natural geography includes climate change,water systems,coastlines,and water conservancy facilities.Knowledge of human geography includes the history of administrative divisions,changes in historical boundaries,changes in ancient and modern place names,ancient capitals,ancient economies,and historical population geography.Finally,in order to understand the current situation of the use of relevant geography knowledge in history textbooks by middle school history teachers,a questionnaire was conducted on some middle school history teachers in Changsha.Through the analysis of the survey results,we can see that in order to grasp the use of geographical knowledge,history teachers need to strengthen the emphasis on geography knowledge,develop their own geographical knowledge literacy,and are familiar with using historical geography knowledge theory and strategy.On this basis,this article takes the first grade of the "Grade Three in Three Kingdoms" book in the seventh grade as an example to study the application effect of geographical knowledge in the history teaching of middle school.
