With the reform of the new curriculum,teacher classrooms have become a hot topic.The verbal behavior and non-verbal behavior of teachers’ classrooms affect the students’ learning and development.However,the role of teachers’ non-verbal behavior in teaching cannot be ignored.Teachers can not only impart knowledge,emotions,and other information to students through non-verbal behaviors such as expression,eyes,gestures,etc.,but also make teaching content more informative and specific.There are numerous articles on the role and function of non-verbal behavior research,but there are not many studies that actually put non-verbal behavior into the actual classroom.This is the motivation for this study.In this study,50 teachers from a vocational school in Chongqing were given a total of 100 lessons in two classes per person.By using research tools,the non-verbal behavior of teachers in the classroom was investigated.Using methods of questionnaires and interviews,we learned that teachers generally have insufficient awareness of non-verbal behavior and use of non-verbal behavior is not enough awareness.Through the questionnaire,we also learned that students are very concerned about teachers’ non-verbal behavior in the classroom,and many students show that non-verbal behavior in the teacher’s classroom has a larger impact on them.After understanding and mastering these situations,and based on this,the corresponding classroom observation scales were designed,the dimensions of observations were determined,and non-verbal behaviors of teachers in the classroom were recorded accordingly,and the results were analyzed and summarized.Learn from the arrangement that the use of symbolic and instrumental movements is higher among the teachers in the vocational schools.Because non-verbal behavior has positive and negative meanings,the author also compiled corresponding scales to observe and record from the perspective of application effects,and found that the frequency of active non-verbal behaviors in the teachers of the secondary vocational schools was higher than negative non-verbal behaviors.It analyzes the situation with students’ lectures,and finds that there is a large correlation between the effect of teachers’ non-verbal behavior and the students’ listening situations.The higher the frequency of negative nonverbal behaviors,the worse the students’ lectures are.After investigating and analyzing the above-mentioned status quo,the author finds that the teachers in the secondary vocational schools are lack of awareness,lack of understanding of the importance of non-verbal behaviors,uncoordinated and single problems,and put forward a corresponding strategy for these problems: update the concept of learning experience;using WeChat public number;correct understanding of positive and negative non-verbal behavior;non-verbal behavior training imitation and other strategies,and choose a more operational micro-teaching strategy to implement,after the implementation of the strategy,to explore the emergence of The deficiencies in change and analysis.
