Research On The Influencing Factors Of Online Protests

With the popularity of Internet,Internet campaign events emerge in endlessly,explore the influence factors of network protest action,to understand the network protest action mechanism has important theoretical value,at the same time to avoid further led to protests and political radicalization,actively guide network campaign has important practical significance.This article based on fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis method and compared 20 cases since 2003 that have social influence,according to the demand of different type could be divided into interests network uprising fight,claims to fight,moral emotional appeals struggle such as several types.According to the existing theory,from the political opportunity structure,social network,emotional factors of the three,through the comparison of case study,analysis of different dimensions of factors on the network have influence on the result of the protests.Qualitative comparative analysis method based on fuzzy sets of results,show that political opportunity structure has great effect on the results of online protests,but a single political opportunity structure is not enough to explain the network campaign success,political opportunity structure,social network,emotion together to fight the success of the action,and political opportunity structure stronger explanatory power.At the same time,whether it is right to appeal,interests or moral emotion type protest action is mainly affected by the political opportunity,social networks,the influence of emotion(public identity),but the influence factors of the uprising of the different types of network also presents different characteristics,including moral emotional appeal type resistance higher correlation with the public identity and this type of campaign are more likely to trigger a strong identity of the masses.Internet campaign as a kind of non-institutionalized political participation way,in order to avoid further radicalization of struggle and political,according to the network the influence factors of the uprising,this paper respectively from three aspects: state,the media,individual's point of view,explore actively guide network campaign orderly path: countries need to strengthen the control of political opportunity structure;Media public opinion should actively guide social networks.Individuals need to consciously establish the right emotional attitude.
