Higher vocational education bears the important tasks of cultivating high-quality skilled talents and promoting technological progress in production.Improving the quality of higher vocational education is closely related to the overall situation of national development strategy.Education evaluation has become an effective method to improve the quality of higher vocational education all over the world.Taking teachers’ teaching evaluation in D College as the sample,this research adopts case study method,literature method and investigation method to analyze its current situation,existing problems and the causes of these problems.In the end,this research discusses how to improve the effectiveness of teachers’ teaching evaluation,which is in order to provide reference comments for teaching evaluation management department to better organize teachers’ teaching evaluation,so as to ultimately achieve the goals of enhancing teachers’ teaching level,promoting teachers’ professional development and improving the quality of higher vocational education.This research mainly includes four parts.Firstly,this research states the current situation of teachers’ self-evaluation,students’ evaluation,peers’ evaluation and supervisors’ evaluation in D College from the aspects of frequency,attitude,contents,tools,channels and information feedback of teachers’ teaching evaluation.Secondly,this research summarizes problems in teachers’ teaching evaluation in D College,such as low frequency of teachers’ self-evaluation,casual attitude of teachers’ self-evaluation,and lack of tools and channels of teachers’ self-evaluation;low participation in students’ evaluation,narrow review of students’ evaluation contents,and defects in tools of students’ evaluation;casual attitude of peers’ evaluation,and lack of peers’ evaluation contents and external peers’ evaluation;lack of external supervisors’ evaluation and improperly usage of the results of supervisors’ evaluation.Thirdly,this research analyzes the causes of these problems in teachers’ teaching evaluation in D College,for instance,the knowledge structure of teachers needs to be optimized and the management of self-evaluation needs to be enhanced;the propaganda work of students’ evaluation needs to be improved and the implementation of students’ evaluation needs to be strengthened;the adverse influence of teachers’ culture needs to be eliminated and the mechanism of peers’ evaluation needs to be perfected;the mechanism of supervisors’ evaluation needs to be perfected and the focus of supervisors’ evaluation work needs to be implemented.Lastly,this research puts forward countermeasures,such as improving the frequency of teachers’ self-evaluation,correcting the attitude of teachers’ self-evaluation,developing the tools of teachers’ self-evaluation and increasing the channels of teachers’ self-evaluation;improving students’ participation in evaluation,broadening the contents of students’ evaluation and developing the tools of students’ evaluation;correcting the attitude of peers’ evaluation,broadening the contents of peers’ evaluation and introducing the external mechanism of peers’ evaluation;introducing the external mechanism of supervisors’ evaluation and optimizing the use of the results of supervisors’ evaluation.
