In all ages, restricting people's behavior depends not only on the formal institution but also on the informal institution.Especially in the relationship of Chinese semi-acquaintance society that pays much attention to the traditional code of conduct, the constraints from the informal institution are more important. At many times, the informal institution can complement and play its role in the missing details or inconvenient aspects of the incomplete formal institution. The relationship between the informal institution and the formal institution, the social foundation of the informal institution and the human sentiment reflected in the informal institution are all worth being paid attention to and discussed.Yangmei is an ancient town with a long history of business. And Yangmei is an isolated island of Han nationality surrounded by Zhuang villages.Because of its special geographical position, the borderline of Yangmei's semi-acquaintance society is clearer than the surrounding Zhuang villages. In order to maintain the stability of the trading market and the social environment, the residents of Yangmei have a system named “misty control”.The constraints of this system are derived from many aspects, such as the continuation of the memory of the local elders, the experience, the inertia of the established behavior patterns, the respect and fear in the face of supernatural forces and gods, and so on.“The misty control” plays a controlling role by influencing people's subjective feelings,in the course of time,it is not only important to the stability of trading environment and living environment, but also has spawned people's friendship.Although there are many contradictions in business activities under the influence of “the misty control”,the emergence and development of “the misty control” still closely relate to the relationship of society and produce positive impact.
