Promoting the connection between curriculum content and vocational standards is a significant decision for the State Council and the Ministry of Education to promote the sound development of vocational education and improve the ability to serve the society, and it is also an important measure for graduates to get a job smoothly. This study takes the national vocational education reform and development model school,Qian’an Vocational and Technical Education Center as an example, using field interviewing, comparative analysis and other research methods, making an in-depth investigation of the Secondary Vocational Schools of the connection between curriculum content and professional standards of the accounting computerization, designing a new professional curriculum content to promote the connection work of vocational schools curriculum content and vocational standards. This study found that there is a great discrepancy in the knowledge points of the curriculum contents and vocational standards of accounting computerization in the case school, focusing on the lack and redundancy of content.Among them, there are 9 items,15 items and 7 items missing from the accounting knowledge items, financial knowledge items and accounting computerization knowledge items respectively,31 items in total, accounting for 16.23% of the total knowledge items. There are 46 and 42 knowledge items redundant in the accounting knowledge and financial knowledge courses,88 items in total, accounting for 46.07% of the total knowledge points. There is no redundancy in the contents of accounting computerization knowledge.Redundant knowledge is mostly the content of the entrance examination by further analysis of the outline of the Hebei Province’s counterpart entrance examination system. In this study, the knowledge differences between the contents of accounting computerization courses and the content of vocational standards acquired by the analysis were submitted to the implementation institution of the case school curriculum reform, and the curriculum content of accounting computerization was redesigned.Following the thinking of “from practice to practice”,this study confirmed that the vocational curriculum content of secondary vocational schools should be designed in accordance with vocational standards. It should be based on the three design goals of following education orientation, conforming to curriculum principles, and satisfying employment needs.Compliance with the three principles of establishing a curriculum reform organization, contrasting the difference of knowledge points, making up for lack of knowledge points, reducing redundant knowledge points, forming curriculum reform achievements, and checking the results of curriculum reforms.Through the practice of curriculum reform in secondary vocational schools, this study summarized the four major problems that currently exist in promoting the connection between vocational curriculum content and vocational standards in secondary vocational schools.First, the lack of original curriculum content in vocational schools requires the integration of vocational standards.Second, some professional teachers have deviations from the understanding of vocational standards and need to be taken some corresponding measures to improve;Third, the connection environment between curriculum content and vocational standards is not good enough, the relevant departments need to be co-ordinated;Fourth,the vocational standards system that can be used to match the curriculum needs to be improved, related work should be done with some experts organized by the human resources and social security departments.
