Research On Major Identity Of Hotel Management Professional Students Of Secondary Vocational School

As the "all-for-one tourism" and "the Belt and Road" policy,greatly promoted the development of the tourism industry,and accelerate the investment in the hospitality industry,the hotel number and room number of the country are grow rapidly.However,the number of hotel management professional talents is on the decrease,especially the hotel management professional of secondary vocational school,quantity and quality of students has been a downward trend.In the background of rapid development of tourism,why the tourist hotel talent is short supply? It has a lot of reasons,but there has one reason is not allow to neglect,that is major identity is not high enough.There is lots of research on students' major identity,but mainly concentrated on nursing,social work,teachers and other majors,the study of hotel management major is less,research on the hotel management major identity of secondary vocational students is less.Therefore,this study is going to research the hotel management major students of secondary vocational,through the questionnaire survey,analysis the hotel management major identity of secondary vocational school by students,teachers and hoteliers.Found that:1.Hotel management major of secondary vocational students' overall level of major identity,professional teachers' overall level of major identity of hotel management major and the hotel staffs' overall level of major identity of hotel management major are all in the medium level.2.Professional teachers' overall level of major identity of hotel management majoris positively correlated with hotel management major of secondary vocational students' overall level of major identity3.There is no significant relationship between hoteliers' overall level of major identity of hotel management major and hotel management major of secondary vocational students' overall level of major identity4.The level of major identity of Hotel management major of secondary vocational students is different in grades,gender,academic performance and source.Through the statistical analysis of the secondary vocational hotel management major identification,find problems of major identity of Hotel management major of secondary vocational students,then put forward some opinions,in order to help the secondary vocational student increase major identity,reduce brain drain.
