Expository text is a kind of important practical style.But in the middle school Chinese teaching,expository teaching has been neglected.It was found that Mr.Ye had his own discussion on the problems in expository teaching of secondary school.His ideas and suggestions had strong perspectiveness and guiding significance in expository teaching.However,his teaching thought is rarely mentioned.Based on the current status of expository teaching in middle schools,the article mainly adopts the literature,inductive and comparative method to sort out and analyze the teaching expository thought of Mr.Ye.As for the teaching of a style,he has a good understanding of the characteristics,types,education significance and teaching principles of exposition.In the teaching of reading,Mr.Ye puts forward the four propositions that lay emphasis on the basic knowledge learning,the cultivation of students' reading ability,the development of students' intelligence and the idea of education in teaching.In the writing teaching,Mr.Ye puts forward the question of sequentiality.The paper emphasizes the three ways to improve students' writing ability and the training of logical thinking in students' writing.In the premise,the article probes into the outstanding features:On the teaching level,pay attention to style teaching;as an identity of researchers,pay attention to the basic education;from the perspective of educational philosophy,adhere to the people-oriented,cultivate students' scientific literacy.The article tries to excavate the enlightenment value of Mr.Ye teaching thoughts.
