“Group text reading" is a new teaching practice method which has emerged in recent years,which is also an effective reading method.The teaching of group text reading,in which teachers and students choose a group of articles around one or more topics in a unit of time to study,construct collectively and finally reach consensus.In recent years,the group text reading has been highly valued by scholars and experts.More and more teachers in primary and secondary schools have also paid attention to the group text reading and applied it in teaching practice.In the high school,there is no corresponding reading instruction book while many scholars and experts have discussed the meaning and methods of group reading teaching in theory,some advanced teachers even have published some thesis in educational journals on group text reading strategies and how to choose articles.On the contrary,class teaching practice is lacking.In the teaching of reading,students lack independent reading time,interest and reading quantity.Most teachers are used to explaining through the class and paying less attention on individuals and their differences.In view of the problems existing in reading teaching,group reading is a new teaching practice method,which is suitable for high school reading teaching.This paper presents the feasibility and necessity of group text reading in Chinese high schools' teaching,and explores the case,analysis and some noteworthy problems of group text reading in specific classroom practice.The thesis is presented in the following aspects:The prolegoenon includes the reason for selecting the topic,literature review,research significance and research methods.Chapter one mainly introduces the origin and development of group text reading,defines it's the concept and clarifies it's meaning.At the same time,this paper introduces the theoretical basis of group text reading and probes into group text reading thoughts.Chapter two,at first,introduces the necessity of group reading in high school Chinese teaching,then introduces the feasibility of group reading in high school Chinese teaching.Through the introduction of necessity and feasibility,it makes the value and significance of group reading in high school Chinese teaching clear.The third chapter mainly studies the group language reading in the senior high school language teaching--take the PEP edition of Chinese text book as an example.At first it introduces the identification of the topic of group reading;Then it describes the choice of articles;Thirdly it introduces the case study and analysis of the teaching design.At last,it explains the noteworthy problems in the teaching of group text reading.
