Online discussion as one of the main learning activities of the online course is through forums,discussion forums,and other communication tools,it mainly appears in the form of text and emphasizes communication and interaction between students and teachers,students and students.E-moderator e-facilitating is the main link for learning support services in online discussion,it is also a key factor in online learning for quality assurance,it can promote the sharing of ideas among learners,sharing of experience and communicating of knowledge,and improve the level of knowledge construction of learners and the development of higher-order thinking ability.So far,there are the following problems in online discussion: fewer participants of learners,insufficient depth of discussion and lack of critical thinking,learners can not focus on discussion topics,which lack of guidance and organization of e-moderator leads to a low level of learner participation,which in turn affects the further "sustained" discussion among learners.Therefore,how to design e-moderator e-facilitating strategies in online discussion has become one of the topics that researchers have continuously paid attention to it.This paper mainly uses the literature research method,design-based research,survey research method and participation observation method,the analysis of relevant literature on online discussion in online courses at home and abroad,Based on value positioning,theoretical basis and realistic basis,To clarify the stages and specific contents of the e-facilitating strategies for e-moderator in online discussions,designing an "Educational Technology Research Methods" online course' e-moderator e-facilitating strategies,and to carry out one-semester teaching practice.Based on the analysis of learners' participation in the practice process of the online discussion,and the use of social network analysis,interviews,scales and other methods to analyze the effect of practice,through three rounds of iterations,modifications and optimizations,forming e-moderator e-facilitating strategies in online discussion.Through three rounds of design and practice,the study draws the following conclusions:(1)Teachers or e-moderator factors,Learners themselves factors,platform and discussion area ease of use and online discussion design factors is a major factor affecting of learners' participation in online discussions;(2)E-moderator e-facilitating in online discussions can significantly improve learner's learning effect;(3)Presenting e-moderator e-facilitating strategies in online discussions: that is,the five-stage strategy of the beginning of discussion topic,the affirmation of hearing,the construction of scaffolds,the construction of knowledge,and self-improvement.
