| Scientific inquiry is not only an important part in chemistry teaching,but also an important learning method.It has received the widespread attention of educators.Chemistry educators introduced different theories into the chemistry teaching from different perspectives,providing an abundant theoretical basis and practical experience for later researchers and promoting the development of chemistry education.However,there are few literature on chemical science exploration teaching meta-analysis.A systematic analysis of the literature on Inquiry Teaching of chemical science research in recent years is conducive to promoting the development of the researches on chemical science inquiry teaching.This paper uses Metal analysis method,taking the excellent Master’s theses in CNKI from 2011 to 2016 and some works of research literature on chemical science inquiry teaching published on "Chinese Journal of Chemical Education" "Education In Chemistry and "Teaching and Learning Reference for Middle School Chemistry" as the main objects.The paper makes an analysis from several dimensions all the way from the identity of researchers,research purpose and functions,the definition of related concepts,research topics,research methods,manifestation of research,to the conclusion and discussion of the research,which is aimed at promoting the development of teaching on chemical science research.The results prove that:(1)In terms of the identities of the authors,teachers in high schools account for 54.8%,the researchers in universities account for 41.9%.However,the local county research centers are not active.(2)From the purpose and the function of the research,we can see that the majority of the Journal articles are basic researches,evaluation researches and development researches.Meanwhile,the majority of the outstanding master thesis are basic researches and evaluation researches.(3)On the definition of the concept,academic dissertations are more scientific and precise than journal articles.(4)There are various research topics.The practice on chemistry scientific inquiry teaching takes up 69.23%,articles on chemistry scientific inquiry ability,research review at home and abroad and the application of modern technology occupy a little part.(5)As for the research methods,there are only a few research methods among which theoretical research takes up 70.77%,descriptive research holds 18.46%,historical researches on related experimental research and comparative studies are of low proportion.(6)From the manifestation of the research findings,the seminar and empirical papers take up the majority;others account for a little part.(7)Almost half of the journal papers don’t draw a conclusion and without any discussions,while those outstanding master thesis have more discussions and conclusions,providing the narrations for further study.Based on the results of the study,the following trends are predicted in the future:(1)the staff in the local county research centers will be more active in conducting researches.And the researchers will have deeper cooperation.(2)In terms of the type of research,the number of development research,application research and prediction research will gradually increase.(3)The researchers will define the concepts more clearly and hold a more serious attitude.(4)The research topics tend to be diversified.The number of articles on chemistry science inquiry learning ability,the research comparison at home and abroad as well as the application of modern technology will rise.(4)In terms of the research methods,the historical research articles will appear gradually.(5)The topics of research on chemical science inquiry teaching will be diversified.Description researches,historical researches and comparision researches will be on the rise.(6)From the manifestation of the research findings,the empirical and reporting articles will increase.(7)Journal articles will be more precise and more standard. |
