Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid economic and social development in our country,the problem of urban poverty has become increasingly prominent along with the accelerating process of urbanization.The urban minimum living families are no longer satisfied with the most basic material needs of life,Mental services and other diversified needs are also urban minimum living allowance families need to be resolved.At present,the urban social support network system for urban minimum living families presents a small-scale,single-minded and resource-scarce situation.Therefore,it is necessary to broaden the social support body for urban minimum living allowance families and build a government-based community with non-governmental organizations a diverse social support network,such as friends and relatives,is especially important.The author uses the unstructured interview method and observation method to analyze the social support status of the G community urban minimum living allowance families in Chongqing and finds that the G community has a serious shortage of social support for urban minimum living allowance family,which includes facing social support and informal social support.The author based on the theory of social support while using the emotional ABC theory,and takes the Z family of G community in Chongqing as a case to carry out the social work to intervene in the construction of a social support network for urban minimum living allowance families.Research on social work is in the construction of a social support network for urban minimum living allowance families.The role and methods.Through phased interventions,the client's social support network was effectively enhanced and expanded,and the economic pressure and negative emotions of the client were relieved.Social work has played an important role in the process of constructing a social support network for urban minimum living allowance families.
