With the rapid development of society,the knowledge of random variables and their distribution can help us to correctly handle information,so that we can make reasonable judgments on some situations.It can be seen that this piece of knowledge has become an indispensable knowledge for human beings.And now the frequency of this part of the content in the college entrance examination is very high.It is very necessary to strengthen the teaching of random variables and their distribution.Based on this,I selected some middle school senior middle school mathematics teachers and senior high school students as the research object.It also conducts in-depth investigation,analysis,and research on the teaching of random variables and their distribution contents.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the background of random variable and its distribution teaching,the current research situation at home and abroad,the research purpose and significance,the research ideas and methods,and the related theories in the final education psychology and teaching,providing a theoretical support for the later research.The second part introduces the content of random variables and their distribution in high school mathematics and the learning requirements of this part,so that we can understand the knowledge of this part from the macro level.The third part is the questionnaire,the teacher and the student questionnaire design carried on the explanation,introduced the questionnaire survey design thought and the implementation.The fourth part is the questionnaire result analysis,first analyzed the teacher's teaching idea,the teacher to random variable and its distribution basic teaching situation;Secondly,it analyzes the students 'understanding of the basic concepts and the application of the formula in random variable and its distribution learning.It is found that there are problemssuch as the outdated teaching idea and the slow updating of knowledge in the course of teaching,and students do not understand the random variable and its distribution.The fifth part is teaching proposal and teaching design.Through analysis,three conclusions are drawn and three teaching suggestions are given.Based on this,based on the constructivist learning theory,the teaching design of discrete random variables is designed to help the teaching of teachers and students' learning.
