Study On The Causes Of Formation And Prevention Of Bullying In Urban Elementary Schools

In recent years,there have been frequent incidents of bullying on campus and a trend of younger age development,which has aroused great concern from our government and academia.Primary school children are at a crucial stage in improving their personality,and bullying incidents have had a negative impact on the physical and psychological development of all involved persons.Therefore,the study of the causes of urban bullying in urban primary schools and the prevention and treatment of bullying in schools have a certain significance for children's healthy growth and campus safety management.In this study,480 students from Grade 4 to 6 in several elementary schools in Changsha city were selected as the research subjects.Questionnaire surveys were conducted on three aspects of primary school bullying:active bullying,being bullied,and witnessing bullying.The survey results show that the bullying situation in urban primary schools is relatively common;the bullying sites are mostly in student-active areas such as classrooms,playgrounds,etc.;the bullying target is generally in a weak position;the bullying and bullying are all tendencies to the bullying response methods in schools.Seek help from teachers,parents,or friends;some students think that the influence of bullying on campus is indifferent,while more than half of the students think that“being bullied by others" will cause them to have different influences such as low self-esteem and anxiety;if they are different genders,whether they will serve as student leaders There is a significant difference from the situation of bullying on campus.The concrete manifestation is that boys are more likely to proactively bully others than girls,and students who serve as student leaders are less prone to bullying and being bullied.According to the survey and analysis,the main reasons for the bullying of urban primary schools are summarized as follows:the individual's lack of awareness of bullying behavior;improper family education methods;lack of attractive campus life;inadequate prevention and control system for school bullying;adverse effects of social media and living environment..Based on this,it is recommended that students,teachers,families,schools,and society be involved to establish a comprehensive prevention system,build an effective governance system,and improve a multi-pronged joint force mechanism.Do not take precautions against the signs of bullying,and deal with the bullying incidents that have occurred.It focuses on prevention,prevention and control,and effectively handles bullying in urban primary schools.
