Practice And Exploration Of Evidence-Based Social Work In Community Corrections

As a new social work paradigm,evidence-based social work is naturally fitted with community corrections in many aspects.Therefore,it is very significant to explore a community correction model suitable for China's development path and open up new directions for the development of community corrections according to the actual development of community corrections in China and by learning from useful overseas experiences.This paper draws forth the concept of evidence-based social work from the current research status of evidence-based social work at home and abroad,and discusses the importance of evidence-based social work in community corrections.In addition,the obstacles confronted by community corrections are described and community correction project organized by association of social workers in J City is combined.The methodology related to evidence-based social work is used to explore the actual situation of practice boldly.Through the analysis and practical exploration of three real cases,personal opinions and suggestions are proposed in order to achieve the innovation and development of community corrections working methods in the context of existing community corrections.Furthermore,this paper studies the problems found in practice,and put forward reasonable solutions to the problems.
