With the popularization of Education Informationization and the rapid development of information technology,the major of Education Technology is also constantly growing.As a pioneer in educational technology,the United States has a long history of education technology and professional development.For many years,the domestic education technology majors are making reference to the educational philosophy and methods of education technology in the United States.However,although the overall momentum of the development of domestic education technology in recent years is good,when it is carefully studied,it is found that there are still unclear professional positioning,inconsistent personnel training objectives and social needs,unreasonable curriculum setting,and heavy theoretical and practical issues and shortcomings,these need Improving and being perfect.This study refers to the Educational Media and Technology Yearbook Volume 40(2017)and the US News & World Report.Text analysis and content analysis are used to collate and analyze the construction and development status of its training programs,work areas,occupational positioning,curriculum systems,and faculty,etc.,to understand the general situation of the development of professional education technology in the United States,and to try to Discover the highlights of the US educational technology specialty,compare the development status of the professional in the country and the existing deficiencies,obtain the enlightenment of good professional development,and give more scientific and reasonable methods of improvement,in order to provide assistance for the development of domestic education technology professional.The structure of the article is as follows:First of all,focusing on the subject of the major of educational technology,the use of literature research methods to collate domestic and foreign research related to the construction of education technology and the status quo of the study,in order to more comprehensive understanding of the current research and education technology related to the hot spots and trends.Secondly,according to the U.S.institutions listed in Graduate Programs in the 2017 Education Media and Technology Yearbook Volume 40 that set up “Education Technology Graduate Education” as a reference,and combined with U.S.News and World published the ranking of the best school education colleges in the United States as a reference standard for pedagogical strength.It selected 20 colleges and universities in the United States to collect and sort out educational technology related information and materials.Understand the overall situation of the departments,professional titles,and training levels of the American Educational Technology major.Using text analysis,NLPIR semantic analysis software is used to conduct word frequency statistics on professional training objectives,work areas,and occupational positioning to understand the key to talent cultivation.Content analysis is used to classify professional courses.In addition,we also analyze the dimensions of professional credit requirements and teaching staff in order to more fully understand the development of professional education technology in the United States.Thirdly,through the combing of previous research data,we have learned the problems and deficiencies in the development of domestic education technology.Then compare the educational technology majors between China and the United States and find out the differences and inspirations.Clearly from the development of clear training objectives,set up a reasonable curriculum system,and improve the training specifications to promote the professional overall construction and development.Finally,summarize the main conclusions obtained in this study,outline the understanding of the current state of the development of professional education technology in the United States,and consider the construction and development of domestic education technology.
