Tennis is a skill dominated net confrontational project that wins by playing one’s own ability to control ball while limiting the opponent’s ball control.The law of tennis is an attacking and defensive conversion process based on ball control.With the continuous improvement of modern tennis technology and tactics,and athletes continue to improve their physical quality,tennis tends to show the feature that dominated by baseline technology.This means that numerous attacking and defensive conversion,and multi-shot confrontation are often needed during the game to win the score and victory.Through a detailed look at the four Grand Slam finalists in 2017,this thesis counts the number of shots taken by each athlete during each game,as well as the 11 technical indicators for athletes in both sides.Research methods such as video observation,mathematical statistics and logical analysis are used to analyze the game data.And this thesis mainly uses the method of comprehensive index statistics to count and analyze the effect of athletes using technology and tactics,the rule of control ball winning,the number of shots and scores.After counting the 11 technical indicators of each athletes,using the comprehensive index method to calculate each athlete’s comprehensive index value,and analyzing the effect of athletes’ using technology and tactics,the following conclusions are drawn:First,through the number and score data,it is found that the winning score of the outstanding athletes accounts for more than eighty percent of the competition.It shows that the winning of the ball control is the basis and the key factor of the winning;Second,the scoring of outstanding athletes is mainly focused on the 4~7 and8~10 shots.The statistical data at this stage have reached the peak,which fully embodies the competitive ability of the elite athletes and the ability to continue to attack;Third,Wimbledon is affected by site factors.The average number of shots taken by the top players in winning the ball is the lowest in all.The scores are mainly in the top three and the 4~7;Fourth,in combination with the number of rounds in each game,the corresponding scoring index,and the level of the comprehensive index,Nadal has astrong personal scoring ability in the serve and the first three,and Federer’s ability to control the ball is the most comprehensive;Last,through the calculation of the comprehensive index,the comprehensive index of the excellent athletes is above 5,showing the ability of the comprehensive technical and tactical use of the top technical level,the higher the comprehensive skill and tactics ability,the stronger the ability of winning the ball control.Suggestions:First,while athletes are receiving training of various technical projects,meanwhile,they should also strengthen specific combination of tactics training,so as to enhance their rapid attacking capability in the era that dominated by baseline technology;Second,China’s young men’s tennis ability to win by controlling ball can go through targeted training,with reference to the above characteristics of athletes and tactics.
