With the development and progress of the society and the promotion of "double first-class",higher education has entered the stage of connotative development.It is urgent to improve the quality of higher education,especially the graduate students.Under the influence of the popularization of higher education,the postgraduate education has been increasing in scale,but at the same time,the following problems have appeared: the quality of education has obviously declined;Gradual depreciation of academic qualifications;Employment is becoming more and more difficult,of course,there are many objective reasons leading to these problems,but in order to improve the quality of graduate education,the key lies in the graduate students themselves.Graduate students’ psychology of "weariness of learning" has a certain spreading trend,in order to stimulate the enthusiasm,initiative and creativity of graduate students,the country,colleges and universities and teachers and other incentive subjects have taken a lot of incentive measures.However,the results are not satisfactory.Therefore,it is necessary to understand and study the current situation of incentive in the process of postgraduate education.In order to understand the current situation of the education incentives of graduate students in China,this study selected the graduate students of N University as the survey object,adopted the method of questionnaire,interview and observation to investigate the current situation of the education incentives of graduate students.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the process of incentive and its concrete performance from the aspects of the subject,object,content,mode and opportunity of the incentive of postgraduate education,and then analyzes the causes of its formation.The purpose of this paper is to put forward the optimization strategy for the practice of the postgraduate education incentive,so as to enhance the effectiveness of the incentive,and finally to maximize the motivation,subjectivity and creativity of the graduate students.The results show that there is still a lot of room for improvement in the incentive effect of postgraduate education in China at present,and the effect is not ideal.The main performance is that the subject and object pay more attention to the role of reward in the incentive,neglecting the play of the encouraging component;attaching importance to the application of the material incentive rather than the spiritual incentive in the content of the incentive;and the imbalance between positive and negative incentives in the way of incentive.Lack of negative incentive measures;in the incentive timing has not received good attention;the key lies in the incentive of the object of its own learning goal positioning is relatively low,so the lack of learning motivation,incentive effect is not obvious.The main reason is that incentives has not been well understood and applied.Incentive is an important part of management.In order to stimulate the learning incentive of graduate students,it should have a certain sense of ritual to strengthen the role of motivation.And strengthen the ease of learning goals in order to maintain the effect of incentive for a longer period of time to achieve incentives for the protection and improve the quality of graduate education.
