By expanding enrollment and development in the early part of this century,China’s higher education has entered the stage of popularization.The application oriented undergraduate education has become the pursuit of a considerable number of new local undergraduate colleges in China.However,influenced by the traditional stereotype of higher education,the application oriented Undergraduate Education in China has been unclear for a long time,and its development direction is not clear.The training objectives and school running mode are converging with the traditional undergraduate colleges.The supply of graduates is misaligned with the demand structure of social talents.The training specifications and types of these new local application-oriented universities are quite similar to those of higher vocational colleges,and at the same time,they have a good foundation for running schools.If they are transformed into undergraduate vocational education,they can better solve the problem of misplacement of applied undergraduate talents.From the perspective of reform and practice,some applied undergraduate colleges and universities have been promoting the upgrading and upgrading of industry,drawing lessons from the train of thought and experience of higher vocational education.Their behavior has reflected the characteristics of undergraduate level vocational education.At present,under the background of putting forward the development of undergraduate Vocational Education under the background of national development,the pilot project of applied undergraduate pilot and demonstration colleges has been rolled out in the whole country,which is of great theoretical and practical significance for the transformation research of Applied Undergraduate Education in China.This paper from the perspective of education classification,from two dimensions to examine the status and theoretical proof,rethinking the development idea and system design of application oriented Undergraduate Education in our country:first,comparison of application oriented Undergraduate Education in our country and the developed countries of applied undergraduate education,rethinking the development orientation of our application-oriented,put forward development of the concept of transformation of our application-oriented undergraduate vocational education to the current.Second,analysis of the connotation of the relationship between applied undergraduate education and higher education occupation and the type hierarchy of applied undergraduate education is analyzed from the two aspects of talent classification and classification of education,so as to clarify the application type undergraduate in higher education system in place.On this basis,this study based on the current practical needs of application-oriented development,combined with a typical case of developed countries and our application-oriented undergraduate education in the actual,put forward the application type undergraduate education in the training modes and approaches on the proposal:first,expounds the four core elements of application oriented training mode undergraduate:the demand of regional industry oriented professional setting,occupation ability oriented curriculum system,practice ability as the teaching process for the characteristics of the fusion line,learn production,diversified evaluation system of comprehensive occupation ability as the goal,focus on the process of.Second,it expounds the three ways of Cultivating Applied Undergraduate:the practice platform of school enterprise cooperation,the scientific research platform of superiority transformation,and the platform of technology based entrepreneurship.
