Objective:Osteoporosis in elderlys is getting higher with the improvement of science.sedentary would have many bad effects, especially for older women, such as bones health, sedentary make the bone mass loss faster.Enough scientific physical activity in youth is necessary to increase the bone mass reserve and reduce the incidence of osteoporosis.this study explores the impact of high intensity intermittent training(HIIT)on the bone mineral density, bone metabolism on sedentary female university students, and to determine the impact of HIIT on bone health. Methods:A crossover study design involved participants being tested under two conditions which were HIIT and MCT,which group concludes 13 sedentary female university students.the students have no exercise training experience and exercise habit. The entire train time is 8 weeks, training 3 times a week.HIIT group with 90%V02max exercise 3min,40%V02max intermittent 2min,each training a total of 30 minutes,3 times a week for a total of 8 weeks. The MCT group continued training for 30 minutes at 60%V02max.Bone mineral density, bone mineral content, legs bone mineral density, legs bone mineral content, calcaneal bone mineral density, calcaneal bone hardness index, ultrasonic decay rate, osteocalcin, urinary pyridine and 1,25-VD3,body composition, maximum oxygen consumption, standing long jump and vertical jump measurements were messured pre and post the 8-week exercise intervention.Statistic data processing were performed with SPSS 19.0Results:After 8 weeks of training, the bone mineral density, body mineral density, legs bone mineral density, legs bone mineral content, calcaneus bone mineral density, calcaneal bone hardness and ultrasonic decay rate all increased with significant improvement,HIIT was superior to MCT in improving calcaneus bone mineral density, bone hardness and ultrasonic decay rate.HIIT and MCT all could increase the level of osteocalcin and 1,25-VD3,The increase of osteocalcin in HIIT group was higher than that of MCT group. Both training methods could improve the stand-up long jump and vertical jump performance and HIIT better than MCT;both HIIT and MCT could improve the body composition and reduce Body fat.Conclusions:1.HIIT and MCT can improve bone mineral density and bone mineral content, bone metabolism, muscle strength.2.HIIT was better than MCT in calcaneus bone mineral density and muscle strength.
