Optimizing Process Of Educational Management For X University

With the coming of the era of knowledge-based economy and the quick development of internet technology,the scientific educational management process and the perfect educational management system have an important influence on improving the level of educational management in university.The educational management serves all teachers and students,and higher educational management level plays a vital role in improving the quality of teaching in university,and contributes to the improvement of university competitiveness.X University is a civilian-run regular university approved by the Ministry of Education.While adapting the needs of regional economy and social development and the development trend of higher education,X university also has the unique characteristics of civilian-run regular colleges and universities,such as the backward construction of educational management team,the complex and wasted works of educational management,the diversity of service objects,etc.With the development of the society,the state is becoming seriously and the requirement is strictly for civilian-run universities.The existing educational management mode and process have been unable to meet the requirements of the rapid development of X.Therefore,there are many questions and problems need to be solved for the daily educational management process.In order to enhance the teaching quality,improve the satisfaction of teachers and students,increase the work efficiency,and reduce the cost of the management,in this thesis,based on the Business Process Re-engineering theory and with the help of ESIA method,we study the optimizing of the educational management process with X University as an example.We carried on the following researches:In the first part,we first introduce the current situation of educational management system briefly in X university.Combining the facts of the educational management of the X University,we also expound and research the processes of the educational management system.In addition,through the methods of questionnaire and interview,we study the utilizing frequency and satisfaction degree of the educational management system.Finally,it concludes that there are four business processes need to be optimizing.The changes of the four business processes can improve the satisfaction of teachers and students,raise work efficiency,and reduce management cost.In the second part,the ESIA method is introduced firstly in detail.Then,employing the methods of clearing,simplifying,integrating and automatizing in ESIA,we optimize the four business processes such as the management of the course scheduling in the previous study.We form the optimization flow chart,and then analyze the advantages of the process optimization.The organizational structure of educational management has been reorganized lastly to meet the needs of implementation after the process optimization.In the third part,we first establish the estimated index system.Then,according to the optimizing situation in the previous works,we analyze the effects and results after the optimization.In addition,we employ the questionnaire and interview methods to collect the evaluations of the optimization and do some analysis works.The result of the evaluation is satisfied and provides a guarantee for the implementation of the optimized educational management process.Finally,the conclusion of the paper is drawn and the prospect of the future research is put forward.At present,utilizing BPR theory to improve the level of educational management and enhance the quality of teaching in the University is also in experimental period.In this paper,some attempts and explorations are made on trying to optimize the educational management system according the theory of Business Process Re-engineering(BPR)and the method of ESIA.The result provides theoretical reference to enhancing the level of educational management by optimizing.
