Food raw materials are the basis for all the canteens to ensure the quality of the meal.The canteen of Business College of Shanxi University development rapidly under the attention of the college.It has been basically able to satisfy the needs of staff and students.There are many kinds cooking food.Now it can be based on seasonal and hospital staff and students' needs to prepare food.It has won the praise of teachers and students.But with the continuous improvement of consumption levels,our increasing requirements to food on the table,and food safety issues exposed,the work of the college canteens was raised higher requirements.So how to further improve the taste and quality of meals,what way to ensure the college canteens' table food safety,and more appropriate food prices,have become urgent problems to solve them.This paper mainly focuses on the current situation and improvement of the food supply and improvement of the canteen in Business College of Shanxi University to research.On the basis of improving the quality of food and ensuring the safety of food,the paper puts forward the supply characteristics of canteen food in college by using advanced food and material supply management and raises the current situation of logistics supply and analysis to put forward the current problems.The rotten food material of Business College of Shanxi University's canteen is up to 12%per year,and economic loss is about 30,000 RMB per year.The main reason for this phenomenon is the canteen staff failed to grasp the characteristics of all food.Otherwise the transport,preservation and storage technology fall behind.Through the reference of the domestic the advanced food storage technology and logistics supply technology and combined with the actual situation of Business College of Shanxi University canteen to put forward improvement approach of the food supply management.The management is targeted of the scientific management in transport of food,preservation and storage process.It will promote the canteen to get healthy,green,fresh food.
