The college students are in the transition of psychological growth and maturity,so strengthening the mental health education of college students plays an indispensable part in the university education.This study will focus on revealing the relationship between attribution style,self-efficacy and self consistency and congruence of college students.The conclusion will provide theoretical support for school counseling,and also seeks to provide references for later research.Therefore,this study has important theoretical and practical significance.Attributional Style refers to the individual in their own past experience or current expectations as the basis for their life of the negative events or positive events arising from the reasons tend to explain how this unique cognitive style;Self-efficacy refers to the individual's own ability to complete a behavior of the speculation and judgments;Self Consistency and Congruence refers to self-coherence and coordination between self and experience.Studies have shown that there is a significant correlation between Attributional Style and Self Consistency and Congruence,and Self-efficacy has a notable correlation with Attributional Style and Self Consistency and Congruence.But there are few fields involved in the relations of three variable.In order to investigate and study the relations of three variables: Attributional Style,Self-efficacy,Self Consistency and Congruence,628 college students of Yan' an University chosen as subjects in this study.The research uses the MMCS(Multidimensional and Multiple Attribution Causal Scale)compiled by Lercourt,Von Baeyer,Ware,Cox in 1979,the version of GSES(self-efficacy scale)translated by Zhang & Schwarzer in 1995,and the SCCS(Self Consistency and Congruence Scale)organized by Wang Dengfeng according to Rogers' s Self Consistency and Congruence theory.Through the investigation and research,reaching the following conclusions: when college students' gender or original places are different,their self-efficacies are different;the differences between the attributional style of the college of the college students who come from different original places,different grades are significant;the differences between the degree of self-consistency of college students who come from different majors,different gender and who come from only child family,non-only child family are significant.There is a significant negative correlation between attributional style and self consistency and congruence,self-efficacy and self consistency and congruence were significantly negatively correlated;self-efficacy and academic achievement attribution,interpersonal attribution were significant negative correlation.Self-efficacy negatively predicts self consistency and congruence,and attributional style positively predicts self consistency and congruence.Self-efficacy plays a mediated function between attributional style and self consistency and congruence.
