A Case Study Of Baoqiang Wang’s Divorce To Explore The Formation And Fermentation Of Network Public Opinion

With the gradual increase of internet popularizing rate,NNNIC makes annual update of internet development state data.According to the latest statistics,"until December 2016,the number of Chinese cyber citizens reaches to 731 millions,and the internet penetration rate is 53.2%,which surpasses the global average level 3.1%and Asian average level 7.6%.The annual increase number of cyber citizens is 42.99 millions,and the growth rate is 6.2%.The number of Chinese cyber citizens equals to gross population in Europe".Internet breaks the temporal and spacial limitations of the traditional media,and even changes people’s way of life.The network communication is prompt,rapid,interactive and diverse,and it is easy to grasp information.This makes it possible for the public’s participation in hot issue discussion by using instant messaging equipment.Internet gives the public relatively free chances to express their feelings and give their opinions.Public opinion field shifts from traditional media to cyber world.Internet communication has advantages of good openness,fine interactivity,rapid communicative speed and wide influence surface,etc.This makes the cyber opinions develop quickly,and spread rapidly.The dispersion direction is hard to control.Public opinions has evaluative and urgent features.For a particular issue,powerful public opinion sometimes can influence its development.Without right guidance,there is risks for these issues to go harmfully.These issues can also grow into crisis public opinion incident,brings devastating results.This paper takes Wang Baoqiang’s divorce case as an example.It starts from this particular issue,collects data about public opinions in supervision platform(mini micro,mini public opinion,eagle eye and ant workshop).This paper uses method that combined issue process with data analysis,and explores the representations and features of network consensus development in the process of this issue.Fermentation state of the issue in three platforms,namely sina microblog,wechat and internet media,can influence specific factors of network consensus fermentation.This paper also studies the influences of public opinions on the issue and its inflections.It reflects on future development of network public opinions and supervision trends.
