In recent years,the importance of the state to the vocational education has made the vocational education in our country be developed.However,there is a big gap between the current situation of the rural vocational education and the plan of our country for vocational education.As a consequence,teaching reform is imperative.At present,cooperative learning is a hot research direction,which has caused attentions of a large number of experts and scholars both at home and abroad.Nonetheless,the practice of the existing research mainly concentrate in the teaching of primary and secondary schools involving many disciplines.With respect to vocational high schools,especially rural vocational high school,the corresponding studies are very few.What's worse,researches related to the biology curriculum are almost blank.Based on this imperative situation,this study focuses on genetics course of agronomy specialty rural vocational high school and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of cooperative learning.In view of the deficiency,some feasible advices have been put forward to provide a reference for rural education reform.In this learning,the author has regards some students and teachers as the research object.They both study and teach biology curriculum at rural high school,respectively.Moreover,the author did her research by adopting the method of questionnaire investigation,interview,and observation in classroom.First of all,the author has learned the present situation of cooperative learning in genetics teaching in author's school and to find out a solution for a detailed analysis of the problems.Secondly the author had found the influencing factors and basic elements of cooperative learning and practice mode then summarized the specific application of cooperative learning.Eventually cooperative learning has applied to the teaching practice of genetics and has explored the teaching effect by adopting the method of student interview with observation in classroom.Through one year's teaching practice,the author has drawn some conclusions as follows: cooperative learning helps to improve a large area of the student's academic record.What's more,it can arouse students' interest in learning,change their existinglearning attitude and improve the learning initiative of them.In addition,it can also enhance the cooperation ability of students,cultivate their team consciousness which needs students depend on each other and develop this kind of social consciousness into psychological quality.Meanwhile,some insufficiencies of using cooperative learning in teaching practice are discovered.For example,students do not adapt to the teaching forms,teaching time is insufficient,content of courses lack of innovation and so on.In order to solve these problems,the author puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,respectively.
