Research purposeAiming at the research on the energy expenditure of table tennis in domestic university students is very few,this paper analyzes the correlation between accelerometer and indirect calorimetry,exploring the energy expenditure characteristics of different table tennis techniques,and analyzes the energy expenditure characteristics of table tennis in different people.Also establish the accelerometer energy expenditure calculation equation.Using the accelerometer to calculate the energy expenditure characteristics of table tennis,so as to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of interventions in the crowd,and preliminarily explore the possibility of Actigraph measuring netting against sports,Improving the measurement system.Research methodsUniversity students in eight parts wearing eight Actigraph accelerometer(Actigraph),while wearing Cosmed K4b~2 gas metabolism energy analyzer(K4b~2),then complete the fixed mode and free mode of a total of 13 stages of table tennis practice.Analysing the correlation between each parts accelerometer and K4b~2.Using the linear regression analysis obtain the best energy expenditure estimation equation which has the best coefficient(R~2).Research result(1)Backhand chopping,backhand and low frequency forehand table tennis technique are moderate intensity physical activity(MPA).Match stage and other technology are vigorous intensity physical activity(VPA).(2)In this study,the forehand technique's energy expenditure is greater than that the backhand technique;The underspin technique's energy expenditure is larger than the topspin technique's energy expenditure.Move between two points's energy expenditure is larger than one point's energy expenditure,and all between them have strongly significant differences(P<0.01).(3)The maximum VM is the handle accelerometer,followed by the accelerometer VM value at the wrist of the human body,and the VM of the accelerometer at the ankle is the smallest.(4)The energy expenditure of male university students was higher than that of female university students(P<0.01).The energy expenditure of skilled students was higher than that of beginners(P<0.01).(5)Accelerometer VM and calibration energy consumption value of the correlation coefficient from high to low are the shoulder,chest,thigh,iliac crest,elbow,ankle,wrist,handle;The correlation coefficient between shoulder VM and calibration value EEm(K4b2)was the highest(R=0.727);Using two accelerometers,the regression equation of the accelerometer worn at the shoulder and ankle has the highest determines coefficient(R~2=0.726).(6)Both Equation 1 and Equation 2 are valid equations,Equation 1(R~2=0.726)and Equation 2(R~2=0.704)have higher absolute coefficients.Conclusion(1)It is feasible to measure the energy expenditure of university students's table tennis by using Actigraph accelerometer.(2)Actigraphic accelerometer can accurately analyze the three-dimensional space of the table tennis technology detailed movement.(3)The table tennis technique's energy expenditure is different,and also between them are significant differences.(4)When playing table tennis,different crowds has different energy expenditure and movement characteristics.(5)When using an accelerometer to calculate the energy expenditure of table tennis,the choice of accelerometer should tend to be near by the center of the human body.(6)Equation 1and Equation 2 can predict the energy expenditure and motor metabolic equivalent of university students'table tennis.
