Consumption as one of the three carriages that drive economic growth,has an important place in the national economy.Especially under the complex situation of weak economic recovery and global trade in the world,the traditional investment and export trade model has been gradually declining,expanding the internal demand,especially the effective consumption of residents is the strong engine of China's sustained economic growth.Especially in the "new normal",the role of consumption as a "stabilizer" of economic growth becomes more and more prominent,and the potential to guide and stimulate consumers has become the core proposition of China's future economic development.At the same time,Chinese society from the traditional family farming society,is a social relationship between the communities.Economic activity is deeply embedded in the social structure,social network and human relations greatly affect the Chinese residents of consumer behavior and economic activities.In contemporary China,which is in the new era of economic and social transformation,there is a certain degree of instability in the system,which makes people pay more attention to the support and guarantee of informal system.In the process of exploring the road of promoting residents' consumption and pulling the national economy,the attention to social relations and social networks is more important.This article from the new perspective of social networks to explore the reasons for the impact of consumer spending.Based on the data of Chinese Family Panel Studies(CFPS)in 2014,family as the basic unit,the use of family human expenditure as a substitute variable,empirical analysis of the social network on the impact of consumer spending.The results show that the social network has a significant effect on the consumption expenditure of the residents.Moreover,the social network has a significant effect on the consumption expenditure of the urban residents.Compared with the rural areas,the social network has less effect on the consumption of the residents than the eastern region;through the division of the income class,we also found that in the high-income groups,the promotion of social networks is greater than low-income groups.This paper hopes to help people to form a correct and reasonable concept of consumption,from the social network perspective for the market to develop consumer strategies to provide some reference,and further prosperity of the market economy,to stimulate the effective consumption of residents...
