| Research on teacher professional development has experienced a historical conversion from focusing on professionalization of object status to emphasis on experience and service ideal of teacher as subject from 1960 s to 1980 s.Teaching characteristics,theory and practice regrading personal education of teacher starts to attract importance,and people pay more and more attention to successful professional development of outstanding teachers of China,especially of teachers of special grade.Consequently,research system related to teachers of special grade starts to be formed.The paper takes teacher Yang Yanfeng of special grade for biology as the research subject,he is a frontline teacher in Weiyuan County,Gansu Province,exploration of his professional development can inspire,motivate these frontline teachers of county and town in the same underdeveloped regions,he also plays an role of example and migration for these frontline teachers,acting as a vivid case for teacher training and other departments to understand,research and promote characteristics of outstanding biology teachers.The paper selects qualitative research,for its narrative style is able to be in favor of realizing deep and detailed investigation of case of teacher Yang Yanfeng,the research content mainly contains investigation of professional development effect and influence factors for Teacher Yang.The professional development effect of Teacher Yang is reflected from the formed systematical education concept,simple and firm profession and leading action.The analysis on the professional development effect of Teacher Yang is to not only represent professional development degree of Teacher Yang,but also arouse teachers’ comparison and thought.The paper does not focus on the specific experience represented by the case,but focuses on professional development altitude of Teacher Yang.The influence factors include individual factor and situational factor.While individual factor contains strong responsibility and profound and practical professional characteristics;the situational factor contains support from family,atmosphere of supporting innovation and solidarity of school,measures of local leaders,as well as the action of key events and important others.The analysis of professional development effect and influence factors represents the professional development orientation of “self upgrading” implemented under the driving of responsibility of Yang Yanfeng.The paper does not emphasize the paradigm of the professional development orientation of “self upgrading”,but believes that the professional development paths of“self upgrading” for different teachers are not different,while the practical direction shall be organically and perfectly combined by self professional development and personal life characteristics.Finally,the paper discovered that the sustainable professional development depends on actively self-development consciousness,professional interest and ability,humanistic quality,habit of diligent introspection,as well as attention to teacher situation which should be paid during the process of teacher professional development. |
