According to the new curriculum standard,the cultivation of students is reflected in the three-dimensional goal."Knowledge and ability" comes in the first place,which fully embodies the importance of the basic knowledge in history learning.As a high school history teacher,one of the tasks of history teaching is to let students master the basic knowledge of history,which is not only the need to cultivate students' comprehensive ability to meet the college entrance examination,but also to help students develop in an all-round way and meet the needs of future social life.However,in the actual teaching process,the present situation of students' mastery of the basic knowledge of history is not ideal.Teachers should find out the reasons and use the appropriate strategies to strengthen the students' mastery of basic history knowledge.Based on these efforts,the discipline system of history will be constructed,students' subject ability can be trained,and ultimately the quality of history teaching can be improved,which contribute to developing high-quality talents that adapt to the social development.The study is mainly through the reading of the relevant literature to understand the situation of predecessors' study.This paper studied the learning situation of the selected school and students' mastery of the basic knowledge of history by conducting a questionnaire survey on the surveyed students.The writer interviewed the history teachers of the selected school to understand the condition of their teaching in the history basic knowledge.Purposefully,the writer observed the class and analyzed the teaching case in three aspects---how to teach the basic factual knowledge,how to relate and analyze the conceptual knowledge and how to impart the methodological knowledge.Through the case study,the writer analyzed the success and deficiencies in their teaching and gave relevant suggestions to the teachers.In order to realize the effective teaching of the history basic knowledge,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to strengthen the teaching of historical basic knowledge through the case study and the study of teaching situation of the school: to stimulate the learning motivation;to create the contextual model;to establish the supervisory mechanism;to optimize the learning method;to use hardware facilities.
