Traditional Culture Education Research Of Tourism Management Specialty In Higher Vocational College

Traditional culture is the root of the Chinese national culture,is the spirit of the Chinese nation which different from other ethnic groups.It is an important responsibility for tourism workers to promote and inherit traditional culture.And it is the fundamental guarantee for improving the quality of tourism.The traditional culture education can not be ignored in higher vocational college under the rising situation of tourism and pursuing of traditional culture.The purpose of this paper was to explore the countermeasures to the problems of the present education of traditional culture of Higher Vocational Tourism Management.This paper explains the background and significance,literature review,research contents and methods combined with years of teaching practice,literature analysis,questionnaire and interview;it explains the connotation and the meaning of traditional culture education.It illustrates the connotation of traditional culture education and the significance of tourism management specialty in higher vocational colleges.Traditional culture education is a kind of education and guidance,which contains thought,politics,philosophy and so on.The education which is characterized with profession is to improve students'professional quality so they will protect,inherit and promote traditional culture.The traditional culture education is both implicit and explicit education,is also a kind of education which pay attention to the process and practice.Traditional culture education is the practical education not only pays attention to the training of talents but also to the skills.It is an important part in professional skill education and tourism management professional connotation construction in Higher Vocational colleges.It is meaningful to cultivate the distinctive quality of higher vocational tourism professionals.The writer did an investigation on traditional culture education cognition and understanding,traditional culture education curriculum,traditional culture education methods and ways.Further,the problems and causes of traditional culture education in tourism management specialty of Higher Vocational Education were analyzed.The reasons of the problem are:the traditional culture education is not paid enough attention;the students receive is not strong;the teaching approaches were not rich and the teaching methods are too single;the quality of teachers needs to improve.This paper stated that the solution of traditional culture education of Tourism Management in higher vocational college,that is——pay attention to the traditional culture education;enrich and develop the traditional culture education channels;enhance the acceptance of traditional culture;multiple the teaching and learning methods and strengthen the construction of teaching staff...
